How it all works
Portrait photo shoots are held at the location of your choice. This could be a beach, a park, a garden, your house, a forest, anywhere you choose. I shoot around 60-70 images per shoot, which generally takes around an hour.
During birth and labour I take an unlimited amount of photographs. I attend to you at your home, the birthing centre or the hospital. I am able to travel to Auckland Hospital, North Shore Hospital, Waitakere Hospital, Birthcare Parnell or your home within these areas. Please take care to inform and consult with your support people and birthing team prior to booking.
I am able to attend the same areas for Day of Birth photography.
If you would like to make a booking or have any queries, please email me or use the contact form below. For bookings, please include your name, contact details and your preferred time and date. Have a think about your preferred location also, most people choose somewhere that has meaning for their family, like a favourite picnic spot, or a beach that they spend a lot of time at.
Pricing includes the photo shoot, a dvd with each image as a TIFF file, in both black and white and colour, and postage of the disc to you.
Other services, such as arranging printing through a professional photo lab, printing on canvas and photobooks are available on request.
An important part of my philosophy is that clients are not charged ongoing costs for printing. I believe that you should be free to print and email your pictures as you please, which is why I give you the disc rather than sell prints.

Portrait Sitting:
Pregnancy, infants, children, adults etc.

(Comprised of $250 non-refundable deposit + $600 photography fee)
The deposit is non-refundable, however, if I miss the birth due to reasons on my end, such as sickness, you will receive your deposit back.
On booking Labour and Birth Photography, you are entitled to discounted pregnancy and infant portraits (usually a sitting at 6 weeks). You can book one of these sittings $200, or both for $350.
Day of Birth Photography:

(Comprised of $100 non-refundable deposit + $300 photography fee)
As with the deposit for birth photography, this is non-refundable unless I am unable to attend for some reason.
Product Photography is also available at a very reasonable cost, ideal for small businesses or work at home parents. Please email me for further details.
